Leaving your fur babies with a stranger is one of the hardest things a pet parent can do. I know, because I face that same anxiety when I think about going out of town.
My name is Lorena and I’m the founder and business owner of Popstar Paws. Growing up, I had many different pets, including hamsters, birds, a chameleon, chickens, cats, and many dogs. They were always a part of my family. Today, my home is run by four incredible pups, each with vastly different ages, breeds, and personalities (you can meet them in the pictures below).
Managing a diverse pack means I intimately understand that no two pets are the same. A senior dog needs gentle patience and likes routines, while a younger dog needs mental stimulation and structured exercise.

Our Promise to You
I built this business for the pet parents who, like me, find it incredibly hard to trust others with their precious fur babies. When your pets are with me, they aren’t just being watched; they are being cared for by someone who understands a variety of behavior, is patient with various personalities, has been around a lot of different breeds, and most importantly loves them like their own.
When your fur-baby is hanging out with me, I promise to send cute photo updates and “I’m here!” texts so your heart is always at ease! And if your feline or canine ever seems a little under the weather, I’ll let you know right away so we can keep them happy, healthy, and safe. You can travel or step away knowing that your fur babies are safe, understood, and deeply loved.

My Fur Babies
Ace: My 14 year old Chihuahua with a shy personality, who loves to snuggle in blankets.
Snoopy: My 12 year old Terrier mix who has the kindest heart. He’s my rescue baby who needs weekly baths due to his skin allergies and a specialized diet.
Zoey: My 5 year old Shih Tzu who brings a burst of energy to the pack, and who has a feisty personality.

Bella: My 10 year old German Shepherd mix who loves everyone. She was a “foster” who now has a forever home. She’s the sweetest girl.
